16.12.07 - Aroma Israel appoints new CEO, Yariv Shefa becomes acting chairman

Attorney Yigal Sharon has just been appointed CEO of the Aroma Israel chain, and will begin his office during the coming month. Sharon is an attorney with the firm of Goldman, Erlich, Gever, Edelstein, and Co. He specializes in contract litigation and real estate, and served in high ranking positions within the Israeli Defense Army (IDF). He was discharged in the year 2000, at the rank of colonel. He has a BA in history from The Tel Aviv University and an MA in social sciences from The Haifa University, as well as a degree in law from The Herzeliya IDC. Sharon will coordinate the chain's development in Israel and abroad, as well as its daily management. He will also be responsible for all cooperation with the chain's franchisees.
Yariv Shefa, who founded the chain and has managed it since 1994, will remain in the office of active chairman.
