After a 20 year career, performances in front of hundreds of thousands of people countrywide and the sales of hundreds of thousands of albums, Shlomi Shabat returns with a new solo album, the first in five years -"Singing to you". The album was released under the label "Aroma Music". The label has already released the album "Real and up close" by the performer Muki, Arkadi Duchin's "Point of view" and others.
In "Want me", a mature, borderline chanson love song, we discover Shlomi Shabat at an exposed and vulnerable place. Efrat Boimold's touching lyrics together with Shlomi's melody create an especially moving discourse.
The new album presents 15 original songs and a limited edition will include a bonus disk with additional songs that have been released to the radio over the past years, but can not be found any of Shlomi's official albums. Among the album's songwriters are Leah Shabat, Doron Medli and Zion Baruch. Shlomi composed three very surprising songs in the album himself.
Just as Shlomi likes to open a door for unknown performers, so he is delighted to provide a stage for 2 unknown but talented artists, Ziv Rubenstein and Amichai Yaacobi who each have 2 songs in the album.
American, African and Spanish influences are found in the album's songs.
