Aroma Israel promotes and encourages students of art and design in Israel, and has chosen to do so through cooperation with the department of visual media at the Bezalel Academy. As part of a competition open to students of the department, participants were asked to submit projects that express the values of Aroma's brand name: Gourmet coffee, quality, health, freshness, Israeli qualities, etc. Aroma Israel has adopted a strategy aiming to promote creativity in artists embarking on their career, and as such continues to work with Bezalel in order to give young Israeli artists a platform. During recent years the number of artists in Israel has increased dramatically, and they have created a wide spectrum of different types of art and subsequently are looking for an alternative platform on which to present their work. We have chosen to give Bezalel students such a platform in order to promote art and creation within Israeli society. Four projects were chosen through the contest, which Aroma Israel used in its advertising campaign, published in nation-wide newspapers. As a result the students received vast media coverage, as well as a number of scholarships.
