The end of May, 2008 marked another milestone for Aroma Israel – the first branch in Europe, located in the city of Constantia, Rumania was opened. The branch opened under the brand marrone rosso. The meaning of marrone rosso is brown-red, the color of the highest quality coffee beans, and the Italian-Latin pronunciation of the name accentuates the brands sensuous experience, much like the parent brand Aroma.
Located on the shore of the Black Sea, the holiday city of Constantia is one of Rumania's main and most important cities. Romania was chosen as a result of our understanding that the country, which rapidly developing both business wise and leisure-culturally, holds huge potential.
The branch is located in the City Park Mall, a new and spectacular mall in town that opened at the end of May 2008. The branch, which is spread over 580 square meters, includes an outdoor balcony sitting area and additional seating within the mall itself. At the end of 2008 another branch opened in Limassol, Cyprus under the brand marrone rosso. In June 2009 the chain opened the branch in Almaty, Kazakhstan under the brand marrone rosso.
These branches join the other overseas (out of Israel) branches: in New York, in Canada and in Ukraine.
The chain plans to strengthen its presence in international markets and open new branches.
