- Our cup carriers, sandwich bags and placement mats are all made of recycled and recyclable paper.
- encourage our customers to purchase a reusable thermal mug at our branches and make use of these in order to reduce take-away cup wastage.
- Used battery disposal stands have been placed in the chain branches. The batteries are later transferred and disposed appropriately.
- Soon chain customers will be able to purchase environmentally friendly, biodegradable burlap bags. We hope to encourage the reuse of the bag both in our branches and wherever a carry bag may be required in order to reduce plastic bag usage.
- Nowadays a pilot is being held in a number of branches where recyclable bins for bottles and soda cans are being placed in these branches. These containers are regularly collected directly by the "ALA" recycling corporation. At the end of the pilot project this activity will be extended to all the chain's branches.
